This lot includes a sword, scabbard and leather holster. The sword itself is 35 5/8 inches long, including the scabbard it is 36 ¼ inches long. The mounts are bronze and have a nice patina. The blade has the NS Meyer mark, Spartan and Germany. The nameplate has the initials CHB. The sword is not marked but we were told this was used at Marion Military academy in Marion Alabama. We believe this dates circa 1920. The blade is in excellent condition with no rust. The scabbard has some verdigris on the bronze and has light rust on the non bronze portion.
