Up of your consideration is a lovely antique oak bed. It is in very nice condition but has a few flaws in originality. This is what I call a ¾ bed. Meaning that it is slightly smaller than a full size mattress. That brings me to the first flaw. This bed has been altered to fit a full size mattress (see picture). This alteration has been done in a very professional matter and looks nice. Another flaw is the metal side rails. I do not have the original wood ones or the wooden slats that would have been with this bed. Also, t are plastics wheels on each post. The head board is 52" high with ornate carvings at the top center and at the top of each post. It is 52 ½" wide with add on at 54". The foot board is 32" high with no carvings. This item will be for pick up only. No shipping. Delivery may be possible if we are going that way at the time. Payment must be made within 3 days of auction end.
