For your consideration is this stunning fine Antique European Wall Regulator Box Clock circa late 1800's or early 1900's, most likely from France. In good working condition the Clock has a curving door with 8 thick beveled leaded glass panels to view the Pendulum. Solid Oak and a nice deep walnut finish. Original glass in nice condition with a 7" silvered metal dial pan, Arabic numerals and black hands. The pan does show some age with scratch marks, shown in the pictures but t are no dents or damage. All brass 8 day Time and Strike movement. Measures a majestic 31" tall, 13 1/2" wide and 7 1/2" wide. The attractive carved beading surrounding the beveled glass with carved arch top crown and carvings on each side, stepped lower ogee base drop all make this Clock a real eye catcher. The Clock strikes the half hour once and a full hour count on the hour on a Viola coil spiral gong. Wood and silvered metal 4 1/2" Pendulum. This fine piece of history runs very strong and currently keeps good time. The Case is in very nice condition for its age with no damage or repairs to report. Key is included. Please note that these antique Clocks may require some minor adjuments after transit although I pack these Clocks with great care to make the journey without damage. This Clock will be very carefully packed, with plenty of bubble wrap. Pendulum will be packed separately, all moving parts secured and the Clock will be "double boxed" with several inches of peanuts between boxes to ensure a safe delivery to your home or business. I have just acquired several fine Antique French and German Wall and Mantle Clocks that I will be listing in the next several days and weeks (as soon as I can find the time...no pun intended) so please add me to your favorites and view my other auctions soon.
