Solid oak table in good condition. This table has held the meals of generations of families. Reputable antique shop w we purchased this table estimated it as pre-civil war. No formal citation as such available though. The simple curved edges and 5 leg style make this table usable for everyday meals and elegant for fine dining. T is a track for expandsion however if t was an original leaf insert it is missing. We had one made which we will include, however, we were never happy with the stain of this leaf. It works wonderfully for larger settings under a table cloth. The table comfortably seats 4 without the insert; it measures 44 inches square. We will include the chairs seen in the picture. We have 3 and 1 which is in need of repair. I have seen these chairs in shops and it should be easy to replace if desired. Pick-up only feel free to e-mail questions. Happy Bidding.
