This is a nice Hoosier cabinet. I believe it is from the very early 1900s or possibly late 1800s. This is made of oak. It is VERY STURDY. When I recieved it it was painted and the panels were destroyed. I replace all the panels with 2 sided oak paneling. The top sides are solis 3/4" oak slats. You can tell by the construction of this it is Very Old. I done my best restoring this. It was alot of working getting the paint off. Especialy on the Tambour door. I also replaced all the paneling on the back. I stenciled back the original model number whic is "Oak NO. 25" I am not sure but that sounds like the 25th unit made of oak. I replaced all the hardware with identicle brass hardware. I have the original and I am including it in the auction. I tried to clean it as you can see a couple pieces that I tried but it was way too much work. It also has antique wooden casters in great condition. The flour sifter works but it is in bad shape as you can see. I did not do anything to it. Also the metal bread drawer is in rough shape but I do not know what to do other than replace metal. That would probably take away the value. The enamel top is in Ok shape. It does have some chips in the enamel but overall in good condition. This unit looks great but is not perfect. It still has the rustic Antique look to it. This is probably 100+ years old. Structurally read more
