ANTIQUE ENGLISH QUARTERSAWN OAK KNOCKDOWN WARDROBE You are bidding on an ANTIQUE ENGLISH QUARTERSAWN OAK KNOCKDOWN WARDROBE / Armoire Features: Knocks down, or disassembles into multiple parts: 2 sides with half a front, base, top, backing in 3 pieces. Solid oak in wonderful condition. Smooth, original finish. No chipping or cracks. Comes with a large deep drawer and original ornate brass hardware. Back is stamped with words: WARDROBE Catalogue No. 228 English joints. Square Dovetails Winged 3 toe claw feet. Condition: Overall structurally sound, no breaks or cracks. Minimal use wear. Original finish. Easy to put together. Comes with metal hardware that slides on and holds the unit. Comes with working key for the front door lock. Wood escutcheon. The middle post may be missing to hold the doors together, t can be something adapted to keep door closed with some additional hardware. Wood hanging post is missing. Else, great case in great condition.
