This is a circa 1905 five section Oak bookcase. Overall height is 71" and 34" wide and approximately 12" deep. Bookcase contains (3) 11" tall glass door sections and (1) 15" tall glass door section. T is a hard to find 13" tall four drawer section, these five sections are sitting on an original base and crowned by an original top. T is a lock on each of the (4) glass sections (no key) and the glass appears to be original (wavy). The 15" section has a small piece out of the top center of the glass. The hardware on the drawer section appears to be original with one bail missing from one handle. T is a paper label on the back of the top crown that reads G R M in a triangle. This bookcase is solid oak from the oak furniture companies located in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area that were big suppliers of furniture (100) years ago. Overall this bookcase is in good original condition and it appears to have never been refinished. T is some gray floor paint on the base (someone decided to paint a floor aroud it) and t is some paint splatter on the top and rear. The panels at the back of the glass sections are a bit rough. This bookcase can be cleaned up and enjoyed as it is or you could do some refinishing and make this a showstopper. This bookcase from Gothenburg, Nebraska. The (4) glass sections completely disassemble and can be packed flat. This will allow us to package this into two "within size limit" boxes allowing us to ship this bookcase for $125.00 in the lower (48) states. Buyer will pay $125.00 for shipping and careful packaging. Nebraska buyer add 5.5% sales tax.
