Here is a wonderful antique oak library index card file filing box. The piece retains it's original grain paint. The file box is dovetailed both top and bottom as seen in the photos. When I look at the wood inside the box, it is tiger oak, as well as the drawer front. The interior sliding box where the cards go into appear to be made of maple. The adjustable metal card rack or holder is in working order. The box measures 6" high by 7-7/8" wide by 17-3/8" deep. There is slight wear and slight chipping of the paint here and there from use, as expected from age, and as seen in the photos. A wonderful antique library card box with many other uses for your home, office, or collection and offered at no reserve! Items are as found fresh from New England estates and fresh to eBay! Please email any questions before bidding. This item is heavy and weighs 13 pounds packaged. Winning bidder to pay s/i. International bidders please email for a shipping quote. I will be happy to combine shipping where possible and am willing to figure out the least expensive shipping costs to your zip code.
