Antique English Oak Jacobean Barley Twist Wall Cabinet RARE Large Wall Hanging, Arts & Crafts !! This listing is for probably the best antique wall cabinet that Iâe(tm)ve ever seen! I just purchased it from an English container sale, and it has all the character and elegance you would possibly ask for âe" certainly a focal point and statement piece for any room! The cabinet is solid oak, with sturdy constructionâe¦.note the dovetail joints on the photos of the backsideâe¦..and the oak planks are ½âe and ¾âe thick. It also features thick barley twist side posts on either side and a heavy paneled cabinet door with large Jacobean style wood trim and original hardware. The open arch cut-out top pediment has obvious Arts & Crafts influence, and the cabinet has a deep, rich dark (original) finish and fabulous aged patina!! I would estimate the date circa 1900. All of my items are personally selected from European container shipments. I do not purchase in bulk, but prefer to individually purchase the items, with each piece selected for its unique characteristics and quality. Measurements: 32âe H x 24âe x 8âe appx; The side hanging hoods extend the length from 24âe to appx 26âe; Inside dimensions, 13âe x 7 ½âe, with 8 ½âe height above both shelves. Condition: The cabinet is in good condition for its age , with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections. T is a small repair on the upper right side trim, see photos. Shipping : Professional packaging, shipping and insurance on this item will be $55.00. (lower 48 states only). All my antique furniture is professionally packaged for shipment by UPS, resulting in very little shipping damage in the past, but sometimes creating slightly higher shipping costs on my antiques versus other sellers.
