Here is what I know about this piece. It comes from a lady in her upper 60's and she says it came from her grandmother. It is solid but does have one addition to it. The grandmother couldn't squat low to get in the chair so they added a s x 4 framing to the bottom to raise it a little, very tastefully done and done in a way that it is easy to remove. 4 v-brackets that unscrew and bingo you are all back to original. I don't believe the cushions are original but were professionally done with no rips or stains. The bar in the back is brass. Beautiful piece that was well taken car of. Measurements 42 inches tall 28 inches wide 34 inches deep the way you see it pictured, deeper with the bar back further back part of seat measures approx. 39.5 x 19.25 inches the seat area measures approx. 22 x 20I am listing for local pick-up.
