Price drastically reduced! Up for auction is this Antique Oak Victorian/Empire style China Cabinet with original curved glass as shown. T is a tag on the back that says it was made by Gettysburg Furniture, Gettysburg, PA. I estimate that it was made somew around 1870-1890, but I can't be sure. The original key is included, and the locking mechanism still works fine. The door opens and closes properly, but sticks slightly at the bottom. A little wax will easily fix that. T is no rot or structural problems, still quite sturdy. T are 4 removable shelves that have two plate grooves on each, or you could turn them over if you don't like the plate grooves. Both sides of the shelves are finished, so you could use either side. Approx. size: 34 3/4" wide across the back, 63 1/4" tall (on wheels), 15 1/2" deep. LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY ON THIS ITEM, due to the delicate nature of the glass, we will not deliver! Located in St. Clairsville, OH (43950), 10 minutes west of Wheeling, WV, 60 minutes west of Pittsburgh, PA, 2 hours east of Columbus, OH, right off interstate 70. When I moved this item, it was recommended to me not to move it on its back, and that it should be transported standing up. I had no other choice and did so in the back of my mini-van with no problem at all (just in case you're wondering if it will fit in your mini-van). Be sure read more
