Antique Oblong Large 18th C Burl Bowl Red Wash

For your consideration were offering an 18th century burl bowl, quite large, with a red wash. Weve taken photos with and without flash, but it definitely has a red wash on it. Measures 18" across short way on top and 19" across long way. It is shaped odd, higher on one side than the other, oblong shaped. It stands 6 1/2" tall at one side and 5 1/2" tall at its shortest side. Bowl has a lip around outer edge, an old hole on one edge as seen, possibly was hung by this hole, were unsure and many utensil / knife marks inside from years of use. We do not see any cracks in the bowl whatsoever. We believe it is ash wood. The very bottom of the bowl is not perfectly flat, but it does sit flat, doesn't rock. This comes from a southern Michigan estate and is guaranteed to be authentic/old and in stated condition, so bid with confidence. It makes quite a statement when displayed due to its size.
