This came from an local estate sale not a reproduction I'm thinking from the 1920s Its a old hat badge i believe. It don't have a maker mark but has 6754 on the back. Its about 2 1/2 inches wide.The inspector part looks to be brazed to the upper part. I think its all brass and blue enameled. I see a little enamel wear but pretty good shape for the most part.I looked for the hat for this but didn't see it at the sale. This badge complies with Ebay policy, it is an obsolete badge that does not resemble a current issued badge.This badge carries no authority.By bidding you agree you are a collector and this badge is to be put in a collection or display.This badge does not resemble any modern police badge currently in use.The department that it represents is either defunct, or does not use a style that resembles this item.It is being offered ONLY as an HISTORICAL COLLECTIBLE only
