Were offering without reserve an antique, circa late 1800's, early 1900's, occupational shaving mug featuring a Carpenter working on a wood lathe, 4" tall with a 3 3/4" diameter base. Mug has gold loss to name on front and down handle, we can not make out the name, old English type writing is hard to make out anyways, let alone with some gold loss. Mug has chip as seen on rim by handle, no other chips, cracks, repairs or hairlines. T is an indent in the china on the bottom rim but it is glazed over, see pictures, we do not think it is a chip, looks to have been done during manufacturing process. Picture of wood worker is very precise with no loss of features, very nice indeed. T are pink flowers with green leaves, tiny bit of blue, on either side of him. Bottom of mug is unmarked, with appropriate age staining on bottom rim according to its age. We guarantee this to be old/authentic, so bid with confidence, and please check our other NO reserve, estate fresh items, as were happy to combine to save on shipping. Email any questions.
