Antique Oil On Canvas, Mt. Vesuvius, Italy Circa 1860's-70's This great little oil on canvas depicts Mt. Vesuvius, Italy during the last time it erupted in 1850's is very nicely done showing also sail boats in the scene. It is very dramatic and was well done. The oil is 7 1/4 inches by 10 1/4, the frame is much newer but quite nice, 11 3/4 by 14 3/4 inches. This piece is in very good condition for it's age with no breaks or rips.
