This is an original, signed oil on canvas painting of a Paris France city scape signed by Italian impressionist painter Antonio De Vity (b. 1901) also known as A. De Vity and Deverde. This painting and frame are both in beautiful condition. Stamped on the back of the canvas and in the original "Anco Bilt" stamped frame. Authenticity guaranteed. In 1964 a label was placed on the back of this painting. The label says "De Vity: Head of an Italian art mastering and producings depicting Paris and Naples - market scenes as well as Venetians. The artistic technique and harmonious color compositions are now best sellers in galleries abroad and in the United States." Unsure of date of creation, but is pre-1964. The label was marked by an Andrea H.... (the last name looks like Hamburg or Harrbaug?) Measures 22x18" and has a wire cord on the back ready to be hung. Satisfaction guaranteed or return for refund.
