Up for auction is a very well carved antique continental Europe carved wood and ivory piece of a musican. The origin of this piece is probably Germany or Austria w these types of figures were quite popular in the 19th and early 20th century. We are guessing that the age on this piece is between 1890 and 1920. This work measures 19 1/2 inches high by 8 inches long by 5 inches wide. The piece is in overall good condition. T are some faint hairline cracks in the wood on the base . The button off of the right sleave is missing. All the ivory is loose. The old adheasive has long dried up. The drum sticks also detach from the hands We would probably pack disassembled for shipping. Shipping is $20.00 in the lower 48 United States. Illinois residents pleasse add 7% for state sales tax.
