Up for auction is an antique / old Dietz Railroad lantern. The base reads: Dietz Junior The top reads: Dietz The back reads: Dietz Lantern, NY U.S.A Junior Wagon I may be completely wrong, but on the back of the base it looks like t is something written in perhaps Hewbrew -- but I can't tell for sure. It stands approximately 12 inches tall (not including the handle when it is in the "up" position). It is approximately 7 inches wide at its widest point. The color (black) is worn & a little rusty. The back has a red glass circular window that measures 2 inches in diameter. I have 3 other lanterns that I have listed. If you are bidding from outside the United States, please email me for a shipping quote. is my story - My mother lives alone in a 5-bedroom house packed full of old stuff. She has been collecting antiques for years, but her house is getting "out of control." I am trying to help her clean out some of her things (so she has room to walk through her house) and I do not know much about any of these things, so please email me any questions that you have before bidding. She has thousand of things I could list and hundreds of old books that I would love to list on ebay for her (but I work full time and t is only so many I can list in a day). Most of my listings start at 11:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, so please check back to see what other things I find at "mom's." I am more than happy to sell internationally, but I will only accept PAYPAL as method of payment from international purchasers. Please check out my other auctions. Thanks
