Absolutely Stunning handpainted huge early circa 1830 OLD PARIS Porcelain Coffee Set ! Includes tall 9.5 Coffee Pot with Lid, big 7.5" milk pitcher , 7.5" Sugar Bowl with Lid and FOUR 5.25" diameter dessert / berry bowls ! Beautiful handpainted design of butterflies holding draping swags of big beauful flower blossoms in blue and soft red , tied in center with ruffly bow ! Coffee Pot has figural spout of dragon ? and sugar bowl has two figural side handles with sort of Egyptian looking human face with hat . Gilt trim. Bowls has little center sort of squiggle seaweed ? decoration. An amazingly glossy beautiful set of antique porcelain ! NO chips I can find! The coffee pot has one line at base of handle (not at top so handle was not repaired) . Much of gilt is worn but rest of painted desing in intact - vibrant and glossy ! No age spots, darkening or crazing. This is a BEAUTIFUL RARE set of Old Paris porcelain - the highlight of any collection or display !
