Antique, Original "Snow White in Glass Coffin" Tin Box (1930's) Measures an impressive: 13" wide X 8" length X 2 3/4" high Made in Belgium by J. Schuybroek S.A. Hoboken - Anvers 's a beautifully made, vintage collectible tin, featuring stunning artwork from the Walt Disney animated classic "Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs". Depicts a unique image of Snow White at rest in her glass coffin, the 7 Dwarfs on their knees weeping, just prior to Prince Charming kissing Snow White to awaken her. The overall condition of the piece is exceptional, except for some natural aging, and a rubbed area near the upper lower portion of the tin box lid. but very difficult to find this piece in any condition. We looked for one for many years. As you can see by the photographs depicted below, the tin is adorned with a large selection of images from the classic Film. The top lid is lined with rabbits and sparrows. The right side features the sing and dance performance in the home of the 7 Dwarfs. The back side "Hi Ho, off to work we go" sequence. The left side, the Dwarfs showing their hands are clean (except for Grumpy), the front side features the Dwarfs looking over the edge of Snow White in bed posts. The Dwarfs faces are also seen in close-up around the border. T is a skeleton key-lock in the front area, although we do not have the key. The tin box is marked "Par Aut. Walt Disney - Mickey Mouse - S.A.". Even more stunning in person. A scarce find. We have had this in our personal collection for over 2 decades. First time offered at auction. Sold "as-is".
