ANTIQUE CAST IRON ORNATE OIL LAMP CHANDELIER Offered at auction with only a $150.00 reserve price is a very ornate cast iron oil lamp chandelier. This is dated with a patten date as shown in the pictures. T are no cracks, or damage in the cast iron and as you will see it is in very good condition. What is so interesting about this chandelier is that the brass chains are attached to both center pieces and ride on a wheel from the very top piece for raising and lowering it. What is included is what is shown. We are not positive if this had another globe. The oil lamp is marked Queen 2 and is also dated to the mid 1800's and has no chips, cracks, flakes, or repairs. This measures about 28 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches wide at the bottom. This also has the original Queen 2 oil lamp which fits over the the post so it will not fall out. Decorated with an acid etched star as shown. We really hated to have to put a reserve on this mid 1800's chandelier, and the low reserve does not reflect the true value of this fine piece, we had to protect our investment to some extent. We have included a $15.00 handling fee in the cost of shipping for the lower 48 states and $25.00 handling fee for international buyers, so it will arrive safe as we are packing glass & cast iron in the same carton. In the true spirit of an auction, we hardly ever use reserves. Our low starting bid does not imply the value of any item. Note to bidders-We do NOT send out second chance offers.
