A fancy round wick kerosene or oil lamp font. Font is made for a fancy lamp, GWTW, banquet, hanging, parlor or similar large lamp with a removable vase pot. Has fancy embossed pattern around the top with ribbed bottom tank., side oil fill, 4” ball shade ring, central draft tube, side wick raiser signed “Made in US of America” on the turner, 1880s - 1890s patent dates on the riser and “Consolidated” Flame Spreader. Made by Plume & Atwood, Ca. 1890s, for Consolidated Lamp and Glass out of Coraopolis PA or Fostoria Shade & Lamp Co. out of Ohio. Good size pot, measures about 7 ½” tall to the top of the gallery prongs, about 4 ½” to the top of the collar, 4 7/8” wide at the foot, so would fit into tank insert approximately 5” wide. Has a wick raiser that goes up and down just fine, complete with old 4” ball shade holder ring. Lamp retains old age patina. This font only has one small dent as seen in pictures 7 and 8. It could use a good cleaning, but I will leave that up to you experts. All the items I offer for sale are previously owned / used items they come to you as I found them.
