This is a rare estate find, Early Victorian Teapot. This teapot was made by Meridan Silver Plate Co. It has the #6 and 1410 and quadruple plate. This piece weighs approx. 3lbs. T is no damage or repairs to this piece. It has an unusual Griffin Finial, Spout and handle and is also 4 Griffins support the feet. Lovely engraved floral design on each side, t is no monogram. T is also a hunt scene featuring a Griffin with deer and stag on the top as well as the bottom. This piece is 10 1/2" tall by 9 1/2" from spout to handle. T is very little if any silver loss, this piece is very clean. It is missing the little band w the handle and base connect, this does not effect the structure of this piece in anyway and is not visible.
