Fresh from a Troy, NY estate is this photo portrait of everyone's "Uncle Frank" in a metal oval decorative frame with convex glass, circa late 1800s to early 1900s. Great heavy metal decorative details on top and sides. Measures 22 1/2" high included decorative top piece; 15 1/2" wide also including decorative pieces; actual photo size is oval is 20" high, 19" wide. Frame and photo are in overall very good condition, wear and minor rubs to gold gilt paint on frame, all decorative pieces in super condition with no breaks or missing pieces, gold could use a paint touch up. Photo is also in good condition, quite sharp and nice contrast for an early photograph, has a few scratches, a slight one on the side of Uncle Frank's nose, not very noticable, some rubs along the edges, most are covered by frame. Selling this great early frame with Frank as found for a low opening bid with no reserve!
