A lovely vintage miniature oil painting of an Italian lake scene in a gilt and burgundy velvet oval frame. The painting depicts an Italian lakeside scene with mountains in the background and two figures seated by a waterfall. It is signed "V.G." in the bottom left hand corner which presumably relates to the label on the back of the picture which reads: "Original Picture, Florence Italy, V. Guidotti". The painting is mounted in a lovely oval gilt wood frame with an inner burgundy velvet covered border. It is in good original condition having only the usual age related wear to be expected. (Please see photographs as part of description).The overall measurements are approximately 16 cm by 18 cm.This pretty vintage miniature oil painting of an Italian lakeside scene is to be sold without reserve.
