It is an old art pottery lamp. The classical figure is impressed on the back of the base, "P. Ipsen" "Eneret". This marking dates the figure from 1871-1917. The classical figure was made in denmark. The figure was mounted on a lamp base some years back. The lamp works. The figure is 10 3/8" tall. The lamp is 23 1/2" tall. We think the figure is made of terra cotta and is painted. A fine quality sculptural art pottery lamp. Wonderful elegant style. This lamp is the second of 2 that we are listing separately. The lamps and shades are the same. The antique figural Women are almost the same height. They are different and have different poses. From an old Kansas City estate
