You are bidding on an extremely early piece of Pa. Redware. The Bowl has that deep rich pumpkin glaze unique to Pa. Redware. When buying early redware condition is everything and this bowl shows NO DAMAGE! No CRACKS, HAIRLINES, or CHIPS. Superb Condition for a piece of redware that is over 100 years old. It measures 1 5/8" high and and a little over 8" in diameter. The bottom of the plate is in great condition considering these plates were a utilitariun ware in the 1800s and were not designed for show. I believe this plate was marked by the potter with an X. Please check the last picture. To find one in this condition is a rarity. I have been listing redware for the last couple weeks that came out of a private collection and is in prestine condition. This is the last plate I have from that collection. Against my better judgement, I am selling with no reserve. Do not miss this fine example of Pa. Redware. Please check my other auction this week. Payment: I accept paypal, money orders, & personal checks. Money orders and paypal items will be shipped the next day, items payed by check when they clear. Payment must be made within 7 days of auction's close. INSURANCE: For your protection and mine, I am now requiring insurance on all items. T is no point in saving two dollars if your going to loose two hundred do to damaged merchandise. Shipping: Items are shipped within 48hours of payment. I am not responsible for items without insurance. When you don't insure you assume all the risk. I ship USPS Priority mail whenever possible. Shipping will be calculated on this item. Please be advised shipping prices have gone through the roof! I try to ship items priority because it gets to you faster and t is less chance of the item being damaged. Since the rate increase at the PO May 14 prices are very high. I do not make $ on shipping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Refund Policy: All items are sold as is. Ninety percent of what I sell is from estate sales and is not new. Email with questions before you bid, not after the auction ends.
