WELCOME.... YOU ARE BIDDING ON A BODACIOUS PAIR OF EUROPEAN MARY GREGORY STYLE VASES. TRUE MARY GREGORY GLASS DIDN'T HAVE THE TINTED FEATURES. THIS PAIR OF VASES WAS PROBABLY MADE IN EUROPE IN THE 1880"S, NOTE THE RIGAREE ON THE SIDES OF THE VASES. THE CONDITION IS EXCELLENT, T ARE TWO FLEA BITES ON THE TOP RIM OF THE GIRL VASE. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL PAIR AND TRUELY ANTIQUE, IN MY FAMILY FOR GENERATIONS AND PART OF A LARGE COLLECTION OF MARY GREGORY. THE VASES MEASURE 9" TALL AND HAVE A BASE DIAMETER OF 3 1/2". BEAUTIFUL! When I was a little girl, my mother and her sister (my aunt) would tell me, "we are going antiquing". This was in the 1950's. Over the years they aquired many really fine antiques. Unfortunately, they both passed away (ages 93 and 87) in the past year and left me with a multitude of items. I can't possibly keep all of them. Rather than have an auction, I have decided to list a lot of them on ebay. They had many collections: Sterling silver, Fine China, old Fiesta, Fostoria,Wedgwood, Mary Gregory, cut glass, Rosepoint, French art glass, etc., So please keep watching. Bid with confidence. If you should choose not to pay extra to insure, and your package arrives damaged, it will be your loss. Unfortunately, we have no control over shipping once it leaves our hands. Often times a delivery receipt must be signed upon delivery, and if noone is home to receive the package, a trip to the post office will be required to retrieve your package.
