Antique Victorian Dressing Screen NO RESERVE AUCTION I acquired this screen while living in Glasgow Scotland during the early 70’s. I believe the framework is maple and is very solid. The tapestries are gorgeous and I’m sure have faded a bit over the years. I’ve always kept it out of direct light. The top four scenes (Embroidered-Needlepoint?), are all tight as a drum-head. All the gold trim is in very nice condition and no missing tacks. All the hinges are tight and provide a solid support for the four panels.Three hinges per panel. Screen measures: 88" high X 64" wide The bottom “batting” is the only aspect of this item that has been negatively affected by it’s age.An easy enough fix for a partial restoration.Everything else is fine. This piece looks great behind a piano, couch or in the bedroom. For now this item is listed as "Pick-Up" only. The advantage being, you get to see it before taking home. .Please don't hesitate to email me with any other questions. I accept Paypal ONLY ! Please take a moment and check out some of my buyer’s feedback comments. !!
