Antique Paper Mache Tray showing a hand painting of a dog. tray is inlaid with pieces of mother of pearl within an elaborate hand painted gilded border approximatly 29" wide x 22" high. the tray has some restoration to the paper mache and some to the hand painted border. The mother of pearl in intact and original. some flaking to the paint on the dog. This is a lovely antique tray with a charming subject. origin England mid to late 19th century
