A COMPETING SITE HAS ONE IN LESS OF A CONDITION THAN MINE FOR $999.00. Painted Cast Iron Mechanical Negro in Shack Money Bank, late 19th century stamped in 2 places. The circular coin access cover is stamped uppercase PAT underscore capitol D uppercase FEB 2 1875. The bottom of the cast iron safe is stamped PAT D JUNE 2 D 1885. You place a coin laying flat on its side and pull the broomstick on the side of the cast iron shack and it is spring loaded with the BLACKMAN kicking it into the house for safe keeping. I have only found a couple that have the double stamps. End of the Day Cabin Bank Circa 1885: Note the painters fingerprint on the right hand side of the doorway. Great paint on this end of the day cabin bank. Darky in door of small cabin turns a somersalt and kicks the coin through a slot in the roof, when the handle of the white-wash brush, hanging on the side of the cabin, is moved.
