is a lovely turn of the century baby quilt--hand pieced in a 4 patch pattern. The fabrics are great old cottons--several different indigo pints, several different red prints, many blacks and black prints. The first border is yellow tih a tiny red floral print and the second border is a tan calico type print. The quilt is hand quilted in diagnol lines at 7spi. The quilt has a thin cotton filling. The backing is marron with a white floral and dot print. it is brought forward and machine closed for a bound edge--no fraying or wear. I do not find any orn fabrics nor any stains. Really nice condition for this age, especially condsidering its a child's quilt! It measures 36" x 42"
