Antique Pearl Necklace 18k Gold with Diamonds

This is by far the nicest item I have listed on E-bay to date! This is an authentic pearl necklace that was made back in the 40's or 50's. This choker style necklace measures approx 13" closed. The necklace is made of 400 pearls that are all about 2-3mm consisting of 5 strands. The clasp is hallmarked 750 for 18k gold and all of the metal was tested by a jeweler to be 18k gold. Part of the clasp is yellow gold and the main center piece is white gold with a yellow gold bottom or backing. There are 8, 18k gold dividers separating the pearl strands. Each has 5 very small diamond chips and each measure approx 11/16" x 1/8". The round center piece has several small diamond chips and measures 1&1/8"x 1&1/8" and is also solid 18k gold. The clasp in the rear has 12 small diamond chips and measures approx 11/16" x 3/8"- yep that's 18k gold also! I estimate there is 30 grams or more of 18k gold in the piece. Since I am not willing to take apart the necklace and I am not an expert I will promise no less than 25 grams or a full refund, and I do believe there is considerably more than that. The total weight of the item is 45 grams on my scale. It is very difficult to capture the true overall beauty of this piece in the photographs. Though I tried, I know I didn't fully capture it. This looks like something Marilyn Monroe could have worn on Oscar night decades ago! The person I got this necklace from purchased it about 10 years ago and at that time paid $12,400! Gold was maybe 25% of what it is today! My reserve is not even 10% of that! I certainly hope this goes for well over the reserve price but first and foremost it has to be sold which is why I based my reserve more closely on the spot price of 30 grams of 18k gold so that you know for a fact you will be getting a great deal! Please feel free to ask any questions you may have! Returns will not be accepted unless item not as described, in which case I will gladly refund your money as long as the item is returned to me in the same condition I sent it out in. Trust me, I know the quality of this item and I know a return will not be happening- YOU WILL LOVE IT .
