Antique Pedometer. French Made. Victorian. Circa late 1800s. Working. Made by H.C. Henri Chatelain. Would have been used by a Surveyor or Cartographer or similar to find distances, or measure a distance travelled. This one has one full sweep of the centre hand showing 1760 yards, or one mile. The right side small dial shows 1 to 10 miles and the left side small dial showing 100 miles in increments of 10. The white enamel dial is in excellent condition with no damage. A nice set of blued steel hands. Case Diameter is 47 mm. Watch Weight is 60 grams. This is sold as a working antique, ideal for a collector of instruments, a pocket watch collector or for personal use on a hike or a run. Any questions, please ask and I will do my best to answer.
