Up for auction is a fantastic early primitive potato/apple peeler, signed E.S. Barker. As you can see from the pictures this piece is in absolutely immaculate shape, with the original finish still intact, as well as a clamp mounted on the side which would have been used to hold the piece against a kitchen counter during peeling. Very rarely do you find a primitive kitchen tool as nice as this one, and even less often do you ever find one in such great shape! This is a great piece and it would be a shame to miss out on this valuable early kitchen tool. We've researched the name on the bottom but we were unsuccesful in finding any information on this name, however that could very well mean that this piece was made by an important lesser known tool maker and could possibly be a one of a kind item.
