Fresh from the estate of a woman who loved antiques and collectibles from Asia and the Middle East--here is an old enamel painting on a shell, with great detail, and with a fine, fragile metal frame and stand. The painting measures 5.5 inches across and 4.5 inches high. Unfortunately, a crack runs through the middle of it from top to bottom. The crack is visible from the front, and glue is visible on the back side only. I am guessing this was likely an amateurish repair, and this could use a more professional redo. The painting is bright and colorful with much detail. The metal edging is intact but slightly bent in places, mostly at the bottom. The stand is still functional. The former owner collected her Asian and Middle East antiques during the 1970s and 1980s, and did some world traveling. BUYER to pay the cost of shipping, which is $5 in the USA ONLY.
