The Town of Heriz and the surrounding villages are internationally well-known for the good quality and very beautiful carpets which are produced t The carpet of Heriz is one of the most advanced art and handicrafts,and not only in Iran, but all around the World. The typical Heriz red and a highly individual medallion are the main characteristics of these popular carpets.
