Antique,Museum Quality Persian/Qajar Sterling Silver Card/Cigarette Case With Classic Persian Decoration of Flowers,scroll and leaves. This stylish card/cigarette Case is antique and more than 100 years old [1880 C] and was made from outstanding gauge of sterling silver [140 grams]. This card/cigarette case has stunning museum quality with superb decoration. This superb silver case is in magnificent condition which would make an outstanding gift and will add value to any silver collection. Fully sterling silver hallmarked for: Isfahan - Iran.It has maker mark and purity mark of 84 in Persian language indicating it was made around 1880 C. Isfahan has been the centre of Persian silver industry for more than 400 years and Persian silver originating from Isfahan are highly sought after. Description and Condition:[please see photos] Beautiful Persian/Qajar solid/sterling silver cigarette/card case with stunning detailed and classic Persian decoration of flowers,leave and scroll on both base and lid. Both sides have been completely covered with very ornate decoration of leaves,scroll and flowers,making a stunning museum quality case . It was made from outstanding gauge of solid/sterling silver[140 grams/ 5 ounces]. It has a very strong hing with sprung action and still carries its original strap. It is in superb condition after more than 100 years with No Dents/Split/Hole/Repair/Soldering. A truely museum piece in stunning condition.I believe it has hardly been used in the past as you even can't see light surface scratches that you would normally expect to see in an antique silver after 100 years. Hinge with sprung action is in perfect working order and box close nicely and tightly. Detailed decoration is also in perfect condition with no signs of aging what so ever as you can see in photos. No inscription/ initials, so it can be personalised.
