This auction is for an antique photo album. It measures 8-3/4" long, 2-1/4" wide, and 10-1/4" high. It has a celluloid cover with a young woman or maiden holding a branch with four doves flying around her with trees in the background. The border around the picture is grey and has purple flowers and has a raised floral design and outline of the picture in a type of frame. Inside the first page says Album, and the next 13 pages have a space for one picture inside each card. They have a floral bell design on them. The last two pages have four spaces for pictures. The back is a maroon and white crushed velvet design. It has a clasp/lock that closes when latched, and is embossed with PATENT ANG. T obviously is some wear anda few rips/stains and t, but overall is in great condition for it's age. I have another one on ebay right now and it's marked 1875, so I'm not positive as to exactly how old it is. The spine and binding is in wonderful condition.
