This Japanese photo of a young woman wearing a kimono and holding a parasol in front of a seashore backdrop appears to date to around 1920, and was shot by T. Maki Studio. The back is entirely blank.
This image is in good condition. T is a little darkening and yellowing, as well as a few small spots of light silvering and one light scratch (a little above the right shoulder, and not very prominant), but t are otherwise no tears or other damage. The detail is quite good under magnification, down to individual strands of hair. The matting is in good condition, but has a little battering and chafing around the edges.Image: W2 1/4" (57mm) X H3 7/16" (88mm).
