I bought the stool about 10 years ago at a yard sale. I don't have any official information about this item. It looks old to me, I would say at least 60 to 80 years old, to be conservative. I'm just not sure, but it does look like it was made around 1920's to 1940. Does anyone have knowledge about this type of stool? The stool works perfectly and is well made. Looks like hardwood and cast iron materials that has never been refinished and came from a Honky Tonk Saloon. All original hardware, including locking mechanism & all screws. Anyone seated at the piano needs an appropriate height. Standard unadjustable benches are too high for adults, and too low for children. This stool has a long spindle that adjusts to fit anyone. Used, not dated, and sold as is. Thanks for looking!
