THIS ONE IS A BEAUTY.....NOT QUITE SURE WHAT THE WOOD IS...Help me out if you can please....It is the type that swivels up and works perfectly....Metal base on bottom has raised lettering TONK CHICAGO & NY.....This was one of the manufacturers of these stools...18" measured at bottom between the feet.....Seat approximately 14 1/2" in diameter......Raised up to 23" to top of seat.....18" at its lowest....Metal feet with glass balls....Does need TLC....Top needs refinished and bottom needs cleaned....This piece was in the building w t was a fire but t is NO heat damage....It was upstairs in a two story building that had a fire one the first floor.....ONLY smoke went up the stairs to the top floor...NO heat...The top actually was like this before the fire with the finish coming off....I just cleaned the smoke off and a little more came off with it....The bottom had to be just cleaned with Murphys Wood Soap...I started it and it comes quite clean but do not have the time to finish it...I will let you do it for a better price....Feet also need cleaned/the metal and the balls have a few chips but overall a nice STURDY stool...On the inside of one leg is a flat spot but you can tell that was t in the manufacturing...I prefer paypal....Shipping based on 25#'s contiguous US my zip to yours.....Please check shipping calculator before bidding. read more
