The hand-painted Bordure Antique pattern was made by Pickard China about 1909-1910. It was made in very limited numbers — and is so rare that the Replacements china service (which has just about everything) doesn't even list it. The classic, lush, overall gold glaze that is Pickard's signature is embellished in this pattern with a blue border featuring a bird motif in a style borrowed from eighth century Celtic illuminated manuscripts. The coffee pot, which is 10" tall, bears the signature of the artist who painted it. Please contact me if you have questions. I have taken pains to accurately describe and depict the defects in this stunning coffee set, so no returns will be accepted. No international shipping is available for this coffee set.
