's a nice old piece. A carved 2 panel wall mirror with a tapestry of a courting Colonial couple and dog. I'm no expert but it looks hand woven to me. T is no glass over this panel. Color of tapestry is closer to full lengh picture. Close up looks washed out. The mirror looks like a replacement but all else looks to be original.24 5/8" tall x 8 7/16" wide . Old brown paper is loose on backside , more than likely from mirror replacement.Frame has carving as pictured. Primarily gold gilt and black. Camera flash makes it look more gold than it is. Paint has wear typical of much use. Frame is put together with two small nails on one end of each side .A very nice old piece for just about anyw in the home. estimated packaged weight is 5 - 6 lb You pay actual postage.
