I have a really nice bronze or (brass)and copper picture frame made in the 1800's by the Frederick Loeser Company in Brooklyn New York. This was purchased at an old estate sale and was sold to me as an antique. The picture of the lady looks either Victorian or some early settler-type era. She is really pretty with a very clear picture of her face and clothes. She is wearing a blue/pink dress with lace collar, a pretty matching cap with lace. She has a choker-type necklace on with a jewel in the middle. The glass is oval and is buldged out like the old ones were. The frame has flowers and ribbons in the metal. The maker name is on the back. The back looks like copper metal. It measures 2 and 1/2 inches by 5. It has a hole in the top of the ribbon on the back to put a cloth ribbon through it to hang on the wall. I took the pictures with and without the flash and neither picture came out as nice as she looks.
