This auction is for a really unusual antique French Picture Frame with dome or convex glass and old print of the Last Supper. The frame is copper/gold metal, with a hammered texture. The frame is octagon in shape and measures18âex11âe. The back of the frame is also metal with metal prongs that are attached to the frame that hold the back in place. The glass in this frame is CONVEX very unusual. The picture itself is in mint condition. It is mixed media. The colors are soft but vibrant. The two sections of color at the top are a very soft coral. It is an unusual combination of materials but really nice . The figures are nicely done, they are very detailed and expressive, you can see rays of light coming from the left touching Jesus. I am not an expert in the field of antiques , so if you have any questions please ask before bidding.
