ANTIQUE PIE SAFE DOORS WITH PRIMITIVE PUNCHED TIN PANELS Details : Two doors from an old pie safe. Each door has three tin panels. The doors measure 17-1/2W x 36"H x 1"D. Tin panels each measure 13-1/2"W x 9-1/2"H. The doors appear to be pegged construction. I cannot find any nails in the doors. One of the doors has a lock mechanism (no key) and a large round wood knob handle. The tin panels are all decorated with the same punched design - a star within a circle surrounded by a square border. Please see photographs. Condition : Good condition for age. Small areas rust in a few of the tin panels. It looks like the previous owner tried to remove the original paint from both the wood and the tin. T is old wear to the inside of the doors in two places (please see photograph 4) as if something wore against the door interior over a long period of time. Shipping : Buyer to pay Priority Shipping and insurance from zip 93465. Please ask questions before bidding. Bid with confidence as I guarantee my items as described. US buyers only. Because of the size of the doors, I have had them professionally wrapped by UPS for a total of $31.82. This does not include the cost of shipping. The doors are wrapped in a box measuring 32"W x 42"H x 6"D. The box will be send via UPS ground as it is too large to be sent via the USPS.
