Antique PILLAR AND SCROLL SHELF CLOCK H - 30 1/2" W - 16 1/2 " D - 4 3/8" Movement - The original wooden movement was replaced with an antique 8 day brass time and strike movement long before I bought the clock. It runs well. Dial - The dial is original to the case, but fitted to the Waterbury movement (see photo) Label - none Glasses - The upper glass is original. I think the lower glass is original too, but cannot be sure. It is of excellent quality and looks old. Case Condition - Beautiful mahogany veneered case. See Pictures Pendulum -included Key - included This is a beautiful c 1840's clock case with a newer, but antique movement. I was told that this is a Seth Thomas case by the person who sold it to me. It certainly has the graceful lines and beauty of a Seth Thomas clock. Pilar and Scoll movements are available from time to time on Ebay at reasonable prices should you wilsh to restore this clock to its original state. This clock presents very well.
