Antique Pink & Gold Baby Quilt w/Satin Back BRIGHT NR From Shelburne Museum/Vermont Deaccession Sale This week most everything came from a HUGE university/private collection/museum deaccession sale. (That is where museums quietly dispose of items that they have had in their archives to make room for more or to raise money.) Some items we were able to note who they came from, most are from anonymous museums, they don't like folks knowing when they are having items leave their collection. Check out all the amazing items. Out of the deaccession sale, we ended up with a few antique linen textiles, we are putting up 4 of them this week, check them all out. This auction is for a baby's crib quilt. We were able to determine that this one came from the Shelburne Museum in Vermont. It measures approx. 48" x 52". This has a pink and gold block pattern that almost makes your eyes cross in looking at it, because it is so bright. It has a satin back. I see one small smudge near a corner, other than that in good condition. Estimated shipping weight, (packaged) is 3.5 lb in a 18 x 14 x 5 box.
