I will post the actual size early next week – Sorry Antique Pitch Pine Fire Surround Hi and welcome to my no reserve auctionof this original and very old fire surround. I would describe it as a classical piece and would make a truly impressive centre piece of a modern or traditional home This was purchased over thirty years ago from an architecture salvage company in Manchester and we paid then 500.00 for the surround alone. The insert was extra. It has a solid top and a rather unusual carved circular centre piece with a shelf for displaying ones special goods We have to clear our garage out and it is with much regret that we have to let it go. It was the first thing we bought for our cottage renovation back them I hope it finds a wonderful home and is admired as much as we have throughout the years I doubt you would find another like it with all its original aging distressed features that give it its original feel This is truly a one off piece and well worth every penny Thank you for looking and good luck Please feel free to ask any questions The width of the fire surround is 142cm but the mantelpiece hangs over 5.5cm each side. The height is 136.5. The centre opening where the cast iron insert fits is 93.5 width x 95.5 high.
